COURSE CONTENT
Training progresses from fillet, plate and pipe welding using one process and achieving one position.

MAIN PROCESSES
SMAW Shielded Metal Arc (also known as MMA - Manual Metal Arc in Europe

GMAW Gas Metal Arc (also known as MIG/MAG - Inert and Active Gas

OUTCOME OF TRAINING
The outcome depends on the student's ability to deposit sound weld metal in any joint with a process and position of your choice. Successful students will receive a certificate of competency detailing current level of skill.

TRAINING EVALUATION
Performance testing will be carried out in accordance with qualified welding procedures to AWS 01.1, ASME IX or EN 287-1.
